Mission
Te’Cora Polk is a writer, stylist and owner of the online vintage and thrift shop, SOSNUTHRIFT. She began her fashion brand, SOSNU Co., nearly a decade ago as a personal style blog. There, she showcased her talent for fusing vintage and thrift finds with trendy and modern pieces. She continues utilizing her platform to teach her readers the art of taking Something Old and pairing it with Something New. SOSNU Co. has since greatly expanded and now includes editorial styling and resources for stylists. Te’Cora recently published a booklet for emerging stylists entitled The Stylist Checklist. She has contributed written content for Amazon; creative content for beauty brand, Philosophy, as well as appeared on the digital pages of New York Times Fashion & Style and Essence Magazine.
Te’Cora launched her career in editorial fashion styling after leaving her career in the government sector to move across the pond and work for Instyle UK. Te’Cora’s work has been featured in Wired Magazine, Phoenix, and Wylde Magazine, as well as for client’s live performances, lookbooks, runway shows, video shoots, television and film.
Te’Cora is committed to curating the life she desires and deserves while promoting sustainability within the fashion community and transforming Something Old into someone else’s Something New.
