Something Old, Something New

Rosettes

Happy Thanksgiving loves.  I am so thankful for each of your my loyal readers.  Thanks for all the love, support, comments, and suggestions, I appreciate them so much.  Also a very special thanks to Mr. Nkosi the fashionisto himself, my love, my photographer, and my #1 editor.
Now on to my outfit.  Majority of this outfit is vintage.  I've had my little leather-like jacket for many years, and my shoes were a V-Day from my love.  The two of them don't match, but they are close enough in color that if I decide to wear them together-it works.

Sprinkle of Sparkle

The star of this post is none other than my beautiful blouse I scored at Forever 21 for $11.00.  Alot of my clothing are in this color palette, I don't know why but I love the neutrals.  I paired the shirt with a vintage skirt that I got from my cousin (my vintage goods supplier...lol), and my cumberbun belt that I've had for years.  The skirt is actually about 3 sizes to big, so the larger belt was necessary to secure the skirt.  I think it came together pretty well.  Something Old, Something New takes on a sophistication, what do you think ??

Tooth and Nails

Hey guys, I am so happy to be coming back to you all with a post.  This outfit is a true display of Something Old, Something New.   These super chic houndstooth pants were given to me by my older cousin. She has the best closet ever and luckily for me I am who she calls when she is ready to clean out her closet to make room for more clothes.  These pants were actually saved from the late 80s, and you can tell.   They are fully lined and of such great quality.  The vibrant blue turtleneck comes from her as well.
