Weekend Recap - Off Duty Style

This post is a synopsis of the outfits I wear for my weekend workout regimen.  You know the usual exercises of  Saturday shopping, and looking fly at Sunday brunch.  

For shopping, comfort is key.  I wore a fun print cotton shirt that I scored at the thrift store for a few dollars.  I especially love the 90s vibe of the shirt.  Shorts are good solution for shopping because they are so easy to slide in and out of when shopping, and lastly -flat shoes.  

.....and I'm off.  The shopping ensues.

My favorite day of the week is Sunday.  That's the day we celebrate Jesus, and it's Brunch day.  Brunch is my favorite meal of the week.  Nothing makes me happier than sweet and savory dishes topped off with a round of mimosas.  Brunches and beautiful seem to go together hand and hand.  This day was particularly beautiful, and although the sun was shining the wind was blowing catching my high low skirt.

Memphis Fashion Week Outfit Recap (What I Wore) - Day 2

Words can not describe how perfect this venue was for the shows on Night two.  Nothing better to accompany the frigid temps outside than a log cabin with fireplace located in the center of the Memphis Zoo at the Teton Trek. 

I wanted to glam up my look for the night, so I wore diamond accessories with a very bright red, bold lip (c/o MAC Rih Rih Woo).  Dressing warmly was also a must with temps dipping low into the 30s, I wore my vintage fur coats, leather over the knee boots as well as my leather skirt.

Periwinkle Hues with a Snakeskin Statement

With warmer temps on the rise, I have been scouring thrift stores for dresses and boy have I had some awesome luck.  I found this beautiful dress at the Goodwill for $4.99 (yes people...that cheap).

I paired this simply dress with a snake skin statement necklace from H&M that was gifted to me by a friend.  Snake skin is one of my favorite prints, and oftentimes I wear it as a neutral.  It just seems to work with everything.
