Sequin Butterfly Cape

One word: AWESOMENESS!!! When I first laid my eyes on this beautiful vintage piece of perfection I knew I had to have it.  My best friend Shan took me shopping almost everyday while I was out visiting her in LA.  She took me to the "hipster end" of Melrose, and there were vintage stores galore.  I found this sequin butterfly cape in SLOW Clothing, Inc.
I wore my cape to the fashion bloggers meet up in Memphis about a month ago.  I wanted to be stunning for the fashionable ladies of Memphis, but still very casual.  I had a wonderful time at the event, and I got several compliments on my cape.

Maxed Out

Happy Sunday guys, hope all is well. I bought this awesome vintage maxi dress from Local Honey.  I visited the store while in Nashville during Fashion Week.  It is located in a very charming little house across from Belmont University.
I was instantly attracted to the bright colored flowers in the skirt, and beautiful kelly green tie belt.  I did have small alterations done to shorten the dress a bit, and to make the sleeves 3/4 length.  I am really pleased with how everything turned out, and I know I will be wearing this piece alot.

Pretty in Pink and Print

About a week ago, I went and checked out the Centennial African Fashion Show "LEGACY!" at the University of Memphis, and on my way inside we snapped a few outfits pictures. The show was amazing, it was incredibly inspiring to see young people put together such a production.
