On this past week I celebrated my 29th birthday with my family and friends. We planned a Sunday brunch with over 20 invited guest, so I wanted to look great of course. I had searched all week for the perfect dress to no avail. My dress selection came down to the morning of, and I based what I would wear on how my hair came out. When my hair came out super curly and '80s, my mind went to this dress that had been hanging in my closet for 2 years.
Something Old, Something New
Royals
This fall season one of my favorite fashion trends have been all things monochromatic!!! I have always been a fan of royal blue, and with this look I wanted to take all the pieces out of my closet and put them on at once. My favorite colors to try monochromatic looks with are royal, mustard, and off-white.
I accentuated the look with my jewel tone fushia cardigan to break up the look a bit.
Native Tone
Hey guys. Sorry for my absence, but I've been so busy with my 9-5 work, B-T-S SOSNU Blog work, and oh yea and how could I forget, I purposely left my laptop at home when I went to Vegas to RAGE OUT for my bff's bachelorette party. That's neither here nor there...I'm back now with an awesome outfit post.
jumpsuit: Topshop c/o Wasteland; shoes: Bakers; necklace: H&M
This outfit is perfect for transitioning into the fall because it keeps you warm in the early mornings and late nights; however, the fabric is not to heavy so you don't have to worry about getting too hot during those mid day warmer temps when you go out to lunch.
