Something Old, Something New

"Pink Friday"

Hi all.  Its Friday, and my shoes and jacket are pink.  So there you have it??  Pink Friday!! These pictures almost didn't make the blog.  I thought they were too dark, we never take pictures at night using the flash.  But after a second I ended up loving the pics, and I love the outfit.  I received these shoes as a Valentine gift...fancy, right?  He did good!!  The rest of the outfit is pretty old, but it works.

Let's Rewind: Nashville Fashion Week 2012 (Part 2--My Style)

Finally, my finale post for fashion week in Nashville, and I'm glad to be rounding it up. Saturday night, I wore my favorite white blazer, and my black pleated leather like (lol?) skirt from H&M.  I also wore my favorite purple wedges and my new vintage blouse (worn here).
Nashville was such an amazing city, and we will never forget our time there and that awesome event.  My boyfriend crashed the fashion show/party, did more connecting and networking than I did, flirted with the beautiful people, and ATTACKED the bar--all in the name of fashion.

I even caught the very dapper Tim Gunn.  He is one of my fashion mentors, so it was a great honor to actually hear him speak in the panel.

Let's Rewind: Nashville Fashion Week 2012 (Part 1)

Oh my goodness, my life has been in a whirlwind over the last two weeks.  Nevertheless, in this post I will finally get to share pics I took during Nashville Fashion Week.  That friday night the shows took place at The Parthenon, at Centennial Park.

Here I am standing in the tent outside of the fashion show taking in everything.  The soulful tunes, food, scene and the rain were perfect.

A few pictures of my favorite looks: (photo credit- Nashville Fashion Week 2012)
red doll (This designer played on the "sexy secretary" look.  The clothes were sensible, but GLAM at the same time, and the models wore a very beautiful sexy, red lip.  Also, the capes and coats were standout to me.

white rabbit (I loved how the designer mixed patterns, colors, and textures).  This is the epitome of ready to wear because I was ready to wear every look shown.  I especially loved the rust pants, and orange tights

Pictures of my necessities (clothes, shoes, and jewelry for the weekend

After a long and exhausting night of fashion shows, networking, and seeing a little bit of Nashville.
