With warmer temps on the rise, I have been scouring thrift stores for dresses and boy have I had some awesome luck. I found this beautiful dress at the Goodwill for $4.99 (yes people...that cheap).
I paired this simply dress with a snake skin statement necklace from H&M that was gifted to me by a friend. Snake skin is one of my favorite prints, and oftentimes I wear it as a neutral. It just seems to work with everything.

something old - vintage pleated, plaid skirt.
I just wanted to put that out there. I was overjoyed when I stumbled upon this skirt in Goodwill. The colors were perfect, and the fit was undeniable. I had to have it.
I paired the skirt with simple black. I wanted it to be the focal point of my look, so I didn't do draping or loud jewelry. The skirt spoke elegance and simplicity.

Hey guys, I am finally home from celebrating my 30th birthday and getting adjusted to being back in America in this arctic, wintery weather.
In this post, I am wearing a beautiful chain mail shirt I received as a gift from my bestfriend for Christmas. She purchased this shirt at H&M, and although she thought it would be fitting for me...I probably would have shied away from such an edgy piece. I love it though, and very excited to have it as apart of my wardrobe. Let the styling begin~
