St. Louis Fashion Week 2012 was a world class event. St. Louis is like a second home to me so I definitely had to go back and celebrate the fashions that are coming out of the city. The pictures featured in this post highlight looks from the Indulge event which includes fashion from the stores in St. Louis's premier mall, Plaza Frontenac.
lululemon athletica & ivivva:
Some of the most ready-to-wear anywhere athletic gear i've every seen. The models wore the clothing in very unconventional ways; such as with with boots, and casual with bare feet. Aren't the mini models cute??
Ann Taylor:
The sophisticated working women does winter is what came to mind when the models came out in this season's latest Ann Taylor looks. Capes, shawls, and furry jackets and accessories were parading up and down the runways.
Eileen Fisher:
The first word that came to mind when I saw this beautiful clothing was "lifestyle". Eileen Fisher creates the lifestyle for it's customer. The clothing takes you from work to the weekend, and pretty much cover all age groups. The collection reflects a classic timelessness and functionality that will grow old with you.
BCBG: "Bon Chic Bon Genre"...
the go to brand for going out for the IT Girl. Lots of sparkles, high hemlines, leathers, and skin tight leggings is what this company does best. The runway was packed with styles to wear out on the town with your girls.
lucky brand jeans:
Lucky is a brand that does denim like none other, and with such variety and distinction. The models showed denim looks for any fabulous occasion.
juicy couture:
Juicy Couture was all about fabulous outerwear. Every girl should have a fur, especially the ladies in St. Louis. Furs, blazers, capes and a combination of all three were seen on the runway. I have such soft spot for gaudy, super glam pieces so I am yet coveting those lush furs.
white house black market:
A brand that is synonymous with featuring only two colors, black and white, had lots of colors and prints coming down the runway. The black and white cheetah print panel skirt was my absolute favorite piece, I also loved the casual gray cargos.
