Minnetonka fun

Happy Tuesday guys!!! Despite the frown on my face in my opening picture I am happy and very blessed.  Thanks so much to you all that visit my blog, and check out my outfits.  My look for this particular day was a shirt that I'm wore as a dress.  My necklace and bracelet are both $1.00 finds from my neighborhood Goodwill store.

Never Losing

This outfit was inspired by Solange's "Losing You" video.  The visuals in the video invoked so many creative things inside of me all at once; immediately I wanted to layer different textures, colors,  and looks together.  I realized that there really isn't a wrong way to do style, it just comes from within and if you have the confidence (and some key pieces)- it works.  So stick around because this crazy bug has bit, and its not going anywhere, anytime soon.

Striped Out

Hey guys.  Hope everything is going well.  I wanted to be sure to share this post before it would be to summery to feature it.  But since today was such a pretty day, I thought why not??  I bought this vintage 1960s mini dress at Shareen Vintage in Los Angeles.  I remember being particularly drawn to the stripes and the super cute shape of the dress.
