Something Old, Something New

Modern Culture

This post is all about this amazing vintage tunic I swapped from my mom.  My mom recently had an amazing weight loss, so alot of her clothing she is either tailoring or donating. While at the seamstress, I saw this beautiful number come out the bag for alterations...that wasn't happening.  I had to have it, as is for myself.  Mom gave it to me and she keep the matching maxi skirt for herself. So now on Mother/ Daughter Day we can dress alike!!!  I wore it oversized with a cardigan, and I belted it for a different look.  Which do you prefer??
lol:)

Striped Out

Hey guys.  Hope everything is going well.  I wanted to be sure to share this post before it would be to summery to feature it.  But since today was such a pretty day, I thought why not??  I bought this vintage 1960s mini dress at Shareen Vintage in Los Angeles.  I remember being particularly drawn to the stripes and the super cute shape of the dress.

Flower BOMB

Finally got to wear my "flower bomb' dress.  The vivid flowers, the 80s silhouette, and the pockets were the elements that didn't allow me to leave this dress in the store.  I got this dress in LA at Shareen Vintage.  I just loved everything about that store, I almost blew my entire shopping budget in one place.

**I am wearing lip gloss from a fellow blogger friend, turned entrepreneur Mrs. Rhonda.  Her cosmetic line is Pouts and Winks, and she will be having a fabulous launch party this week for her online boutique.  Congrats, boo!!!**
