Something Old, Something New

Black Swan

Happy Thursday friends!!!  This week I have been on a high.  Plenty of things to be thankful for.  God will surely give you the desires of your heart, and I am truly humbled and grateful.
Now on to my outfit...nothing special going on, but my cool new collar.  I bought this beauty at H&M in St. Louis when I was there for fashion week.  I knew when I wore the collar I wanted my top half to be practically muted.  I paired my basic black tee with a lace skirt that I bought at the Salvation Army for $2.99!!!

Splack

Splack...yes as in the song "Splackaveli".  I don't know why, but I guess the pants made me do it.  Anyway on to the outfit, I bought these pants at H&M.  I have been mixing and matching like crazy lately especially with prints, and these pants have been worn with several other prints to make some funky looks.  However, on this day I paired my pencil pants with a satin shirt that I got from my gracious co-worker that gives me alot of her old clothes.  The blouse is a gorgeous chartreuse color.

Rosettes

Happy Thanksgiving loves.  I am so thankful for each of your my loyal readers.  Thanks for all the love, support, comments, and suggestions, I appreciate them so much.  Also a very special thanks to Mr. Nkosi the fashionisto himself, my love, my photographer, and my #1 editor.
Now on to my outfit.  Majority of this outfit is vintage.  I've had my little leather-like jacket for many years, and my shoes were a V-Day from my love.  The two of them don't match, but they are close enough in color that if I decide to wear them together-it works.
