Something Old, Something New

Bright Black Sparkles

I bought this jumper dress a few years ago for my office holiday party.  The sparkles caught my eye like most shiny things always do.  I am such a big kid when it comes to things gawdy and shiny.

Recent I wore the dress to church, and we shot a few pictures afterwards.  Oh and what do you guys think of the ribbons as laces in my oxfords??

Midis, Maxis, and May

Edited by: Victoria of vmac+cheese

When I was a little kid, it was tough to find me in anything other than pants or shorts. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I was a tom boy...but skirts and dresses just weren’t my thing. Fast forward 20+ years, and I’ve finally seen the light. Flowy skirts and pretty dresses not only lend an instant ladylike vibe to your look, but they’re also insanely comfortable. This week, plenty of bloggers are embracing the warmer temps with midi and maxi skirts, easy cotton dresses, and all in bold summer colors, natch. They’re looks that even my 7 year old self would’ve approved of!

Sweet Cranberry Nites

I wore this outfit during Memphis Fashion Week, and it was a hit.  I was flattered by all the people that took pictures and/ or stopped me inquiring about this piece.  I purchased this jumpsuit while in Nashville for Lexus Nashville Fashion Week.  When I saw it, I loved it.  It instantly gave me Whitley Gilbert and Designing Women vibes. lol.
