Something Old, Something New

Black, White and RED all over

Hey guys, happy to be coming back to you all with a new post. These particular pictures almost didn't make the cut because of a certain wardrobe malfunction (i.e. ugly white bra straps showing).  Oh well, I digress, but other than that I love everything about this outfit.

These bright red pants (also worn here) were given to me by my cousin when she cleaned out tons of old clothes from ONE of her closets.  She has the absolute best vintage pieces, and I'm grateful to be the person that she calls when she's ready to get rid of things.  Thanks cousin Terre!!!

snapshot: oftentimes the picture itself is so intriguing that you don't need an anecdotal preface.  The detailing and uniqueness in this photo speaks.

Splash of Color

Nothing says "I just want to be low-key today" like an oversized shirtdress.  My favorite shirtdress is a very casual, yet cute black chambray, and when I want to add GLAM all i have to do is add splashes of color in the shoes and accessory department.

I wore this outfit the second night of fashion week here in Memphis.  I was working as a volunteer so I wanted to be super comfortable.  These pics were taken after the show, and as you can see by looking into my eyes, I'm pretty exhausted.
