Something Old, Something New

Steel Blue

This outfit went on a whirlwind ride around Memphis with me last Sunday.  I first wore it to church, then to a meeting, and finally to the Memphis City Beautiful's Curb Couture trashion show.
(dress: H&M; tights: Forever 21; shoes: Baker's; purse: Arden B; necklace: Pitaya)
The Memphis City Beautiful trashion show was a blast in a half.  I have never been so entertained at a fashion show in my life.  As kids we all learn to recycle, reduce, and reuse; but when you talking about taking "trash" and creating fashion...now that's an attention grabber. And that was the sole purpose of the show- to introduce the repurposing of what some may consider trash, and make trashion

Just Peachy

When I wore this outfit for some reason I felt like a little kid.  Maybe it was the oxfords with the ribbons as laces, so I changed into my heels when we went out to dinner that night.  This outfit also has a lot of details that I like. Obviously the sleeves of the shirt, but I also love the draping of my wrap skirt.  It's all so unique.

**Also today is the start of St. Louis Fashion Week.  I will be leaving later this week to catch some of the shows.  If you want to meet me there tickets can be purchased here**

Striped Out

Hey guys.  Hope everything is going well.  I wanted to be sure to share this post before it would be to summery to feature it.  But since today was such a pretty day, I thought why not??  I bought this vintage 1960s mini dress at Shareen Vintage in Los Angeles.  I remember being particularly drawn to the stripes and the super cute shape of the dress.
