Last week on Instagram I posted a few pics of my favorite Spring trends. I also include this picture of a trend that I will not be jumping on board with. Mules are shoes that have resurfaced on the fashion scene more than a decade after they were once very popular.
Something Old, Something New
Ms. Denim 2.0
In this post, I took my favorite denim shirt and paired it with drawstring blue jeans from H&M. I wore this outfit to a college basketball game. I was definitely dressing for comfort.

Ivory League
I will not address the elephant in the room. I will not discuss the mean mug. I will say that oddly beige is my favorite color - even when i am not in the best of moods. Beige is one of those colors that look good in everything including: my car, my vintage clutch, my favorite pearls, and my winter coat.
Throughout the day this outfit was mistaken for a jumpsuit. I guess the colors of the shirt and pants matched really well. Oh and an outfit secret I wanted to share is that the shirt is actually peplum, but I tucked the bottom because I wanted a clean look.
